Southern drops game at Central Oklahoma

Edmond, Okla.
- Four different Central Oklahoma pitchers combined to limit the Missouri Southern baseball team to four hits today as the Bronchos defeated the Lions, 12-0 today.

Southern moves to 1-2 on the season, while UCO improves to 5-0.

Central scored four runs over the first three innings, but an eight run outburst over the sixth, seventh and eighth innings did in the Lions.

Cliff Wheeler, Kenny Hart, CJ Matthews and Skyler Rawlins had a hit each for Southern today.

Tyler Lipscomb started for the Lions and went six innings. Jacob Garrison and Jeremy Bland pitched in relief.

Central Oklahoma's Breck Draper started on the mound and went five innings, allowing just two hits.

The Lions will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they travel to Lawton, Okla. to take on Cameron in a double-header beginning at 1 pm.
