11-ranked Central Missouri Mules defeated the Missouri Southern Lions
13-0 in game one and then 8-1 in the nightcap to sweep a doubleheader
Saturday (Apr. 28) in Warrensburg, Mo.
Will Feil scored four times and drove in a run with three hits to pace
the Mules offensive attack in the first game.
The Mules led 2-0 against Lions' starter Scotty Roberson after the first
inning before erupting for eight runs in the third inning, led by a
two-run double by Iain Dykins to put Central up 10-0.
Kris Webber allowed no runs and only two Lion hits to gain the win for
the Mules in the opener.
Central (43-8, 25-5 MIAA) scored the first run of the nightcap in the
first off Lucas Vestal, but the Lions (15-30, 8-22 MIAA) responded by
tying the score in the third.
Justin Heuther led off the inning with the only Lion hit of the second

Potts was the winning pitcher for UCM in game two after allowing only
the one run in six innings of work.
The Lions and Mules will conclude the weekend series with a single,
