5/4/08 - Track & Field Lion women complete MIAA Triple Crown with 2008 MIAA Outdoor Championship The Missouri Southern women's track and field team completed the MIAA Triple Crown today as they continued their dominance in winning the 2008 MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship at Northwest Missouri State University. It is the first time an MIAA team has won the Triple Crown since the 2006 Central Missouri women's team won all three titles. [Full Story] 4/27/08 - Baseball Griffons win two to complete four-game sweep The Missouri Western Griffons scored a combined 21 runs in the seven and nine-inning doubleheader to complete a four-game sweep of the Missouri Southern Lions Sunday afternoon (Apr. 27) at Joe Becker Stadium. The Griffons won the opener 8-4 and then took the nightcap 13-3.
