Transfer students are
students that have earned credit after high school from any college, university,
trade, technical, cosmetology, and/or online schools.

Complete the application for admission.

Pay the $15.00 non-refundable admission
fee.

Students must request that all official
transcripts from previously attended institutions after high
school be mailed directly to MSSU Admissions,
3950 E Newman Rd, Joplin, MO 64801.

Students that earned college credit
in high school (dual credit) have to provide an official transcript
from that institution.

ACT or MSSU placement tests must be
taken if no math or English class has been completed prior to
enrolling in those classes.

Selected majors may require ACT scores
on file before consideration into the formal programs.

Students with a bachelor's degree need to provide
the transcript from the institution that awarded the
degree.

If seeking scholarships or financial
aid, a FAFSA must be completed. Our school code is 002488.

NEWLY ACCEPTED TRANSFER STUDENTS:
Missouri Southern offers a Southern Welcome for Transfer Students
orientation and pre-enrollment program each semester. This is a
program for students that have been accepted/admitted to the University.
