Phonathon update

The 26th Annual Phonathon is in its second week. As of Feb. 12, student callers had contacted 1,132 MSSU alumni.

Curt Betebenner, Foundation, says faculty/staff response has raised $6,533 with a total of 39 pledges.

"We are fast approaching last year's total giving figure of $7,700," Curt says.

He adds: "The average pledge is $168 which is the highest average of any of the groups, alumni/friends/businesses/faculty and staff, contacted during last year's phone program. While that number is greater than last year's average faculty/staff gift of $154, we need to remember that participation is important and gifts of any amount increase our participation rate."

Curt says he hopes everyone will pick a comfortable pledge amount for a favorite program.
