Bring art into young lives by pursuing a degree in art education. The BSEd in Art from Missouri Southern State University prepares you to teach kindergarten–12th grade.
The curriculum for art education is a joint effort by the Department of Teacher Education and the Department of Art. Student teaching experiences in local schools are included as part of your studies.
As an art education major, you will be certified to teach through the MSSU Teacher Education program. You may concentrate in art education alone or you may couple your art certification with another teaching specialty.
