Successful students and quality academics:

MSSU students placed first and second at the Missouri Society for Respiratory Care State Conference.

For the second consecutive year and the third in the last four, students in the MSSU Radiologic Technology program placed 2nd at the Missouri Society of Radiologic Technology (MSRT) Conference Student Bowl that included 14 teams from Radiologic Technology programs across the state, including the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Successful athletic programs:

As of the 2011 Fall Semester, the Missouri Southern Athletic Department had roughly 345 student-athletes on 14 team rosters. Of those athletes, 159 of them had a 3.0 GPA or higher, 61 had a 3.5 GPA or higher and 13 had a perfect 4.0 GPA. Read more.

Successful graduates:

Michelle DimzaMichelle Dimza of St. Louis, Mo., was named “Outstanding Graduate” by the MSSU Alumni Association. A team captain on the Missouri Southern women’s soccer team for her last three seasons, Michelle will play soccer for a Women’s Professional Soccer League (WPSL) team in Seattle, Wash., while studying for the Medical College Admission test (MCAT). Her career goal is to become a physician in a field in which she can incorporate medical research. Read about other successful graduates.
