Career Guidance

The Environmental Health field includes 3 major occupational categories: public health, environmental protection, and workplace safety. These careers have roles for both government and industrial professionals that balance environmental regulation with economics and other issues.

Environmental Health graduates find work. 100% of our graduates have found jobs if they have applied themselves to the job search.

Three questions you should answer if you want to consider majoring in environmental health:

  1. Do I desire to protect the human environment?
  2. Do I have the ability to do well in science coursework?
  3. Do I like meeting and working with people?

If you answered yes, you have potential to be an environmental health practitioner and we can find a good fit for you in environmental health.
