Biology Club

Members of the Biology Club at Missouri Southern are involved with a variety of service, educational, and social activities. The club is a chance for biology majors to interact, share experiences, gain insight from upper classmen, and to relieve stress.

Their activities this year included:

Restoring and upgrading the hiking trail south of the Biology pond. This trail extends from the Biology pond to Turkey Creek, which is the southern border of campus.
Camping at Prairie State Park.
Traveling to graduate and professional schools at the University of Missouri.
Taking a behind the scenes tour of Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield.
A presentation by Dr. Plucinski about career opportunities in biology.
Establishing a stream team.
Staffing a booth during the Earth Day activities on campus.
A dunk tank for professors as the club fundraiser during Spring Fling week activities.
